The Create Quote/Sales Order button on the Main Menu allows users to create sales orders and quotes.
When opened from the Main Menu, if existing order(s) exist on the mobile device they will be displayed allowing users to continue the order when tapped.
If there are no orders saved to the device when opened from the Main Menu, users will be taken directly to the new sales order creation screen.

Tapping the order allows a user to edit an existing order saved to the device.
Users will be prompted if they would like to review the previously entered details for the order or proceed directly to the product line items.

|
When tapped removes the existing order from the mobile device. A confirmation box will be shown confirming the removal of the in-progress sales order.
|
|
|
New Order - Tapping the button allows users to create a new sales order or quote. Please refer to Creating a Sales Order/Quote for more information.

Creating a Sales Order/Quote
Either opening the Sales Order/Quote Entry screen from the Main Menu or tapping the New Order button will allow users to create a new sales order or quote.
|
|
Warehouse - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a warehouse to fulfil the order from.
|
|
Customer Code - Enter a customer name or code to perform a search for the customer in BBS Accounting.
|
|
After selecting a customer, users will be show any credit status notifications for the customer (if relevant).
Once the customer has been selected and the notifications confirmed, the billing information will appear.
|
|
Customer Alerts - Displays customer specific alerts.
|
|
Billing Address - Allows users to change the default billing address on the order.
|
|
Billing Contact - Allows users to change the default billing contact on the order by either free type or selecting the drop-down arrow to display a list of billing contacts for the selected customer.
|
|
Continue - Proceeds to the next step of the sales order/quote entry.
|
|
After tapping continue the delivery and shipping details are displayed.
|
|
Delivery Code - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a delivery code which will pre-fill the customers address and contact information.
|
|
Delivery Code Alerts - Displays any alerts for the selected delivery code.
|
|
Delivery Address - Allows users to enter a delivery address for the order.
|
|
Delivery Contact - Allows users to change the delivery contact for the order by either free type or selecting the drop-down arrow to display a list of delivery contacts for the selected customer.

Ship Via - Allows users to select the shipping method for the order by either free type or selecting the drop-down arrow to display a list of shipping methods.
Selecting Direct Delivery will disable the exclusive buy-in option.
|
|
Order Ship Type - Allows users to select the order type i.e. Part Ship, No Part Ship or Direct Delivery.
Selecting Direct Delivery will disable the exclusive buy-in option.
|
|
Exclusive Buy-In - Allows users to indicate that this order is an exclusive buy-in.
|
|
Continue - Proceeds to the next step of the sales order/quote.
|
|
After tapping continue the final parameters are displayed.
|
|
Customer Order Number - Allows users to enter a customer order number for the order.
|
|
Date Required - Allows users to select a date for which the customer requires the order.
|
|
Sales Rep - Allows users to select the sales rep for this order.
|
|
Continue - Proceeds to the next step of the sales order/quote.
|
|
After tapping continue the sales order/quote is saved to the mobile device and can be retrieved at any time until its final submission.

Add Items to the Sales Order/Quote
Where no products have been added to the order users will be shown "Tap + to start adding products to order...".
Tapping the + will allow users to add products to the order.
If users are returning to a previously saved order which had products added, then the following screen will be displayed.

Tapping the product code will open Inventory Enquiry for the selected product.
|
|
|
When tapped, will allow users to edit the existing product line.
|
|
|
|
When tapped, will remove the product line from the order.
|
|
|
Continue - Tapping the button will proceed to finalise the order. Refer to Submitting the Order below.
|
|
After tapping + to add a product to the order users will see the following screen. Users can either perform a product search by entering a product code, a description, scanning the products barcode or alternatively use the Quick Add button to return a list of products previously purchased by the selected customer, products with contract prices for the selected customer, and products on the customer's favourites lists.

Product Code - Enter a product code or description to perform a search for the product.
|
|
|
When tapped, allows users to scan a barcode for the product to be added to the order.
|
|
|
Quick Add - When tapped, returns a search for the customers recently purchased products. Tapping the product will allow users to add that product to the order.
|
|
|
|
Product Details - Displays details for the product selected. Tapping the product code will open Inventory Enquiry for the selected product.
|
|
Substitute Product - If the product is configured for substitution then selecting the substitute button will replace the product with the alternate.
A link on the product code is provided to open the Inventory Enquiry for the specified product code for comparison.

|
Product Alerts - Where product alerts exist for the selected product they will be displayed.
|
|
Qty Ordered - Enter the quantity to be ordered.
|
Products that are configured for specific units of measurement will need to be entered by tapping the calculator. Please refer to Calculators for more information.

|
Sales Price exGST - Allows users to enter a sale price for the selected product.
Sale price will automatically adjust if there are pricing levels applied based on the quantity ordered.

Allows users to open the Customer/Product Pricing screen to adjust pricing based on GP, Markup and Discount. Please refer to Customer/Product Pricing for more information.

|
Pricing Details - Displays the selected customers default price, last quoted and last sold if available.
|
|
Line Comment - Allows users to enter a line comment for the product.
|
|
Purchase Comment - Allows users to enter a purchase comment for the product.
|
|
Sell Price - When expanded, displays the product sell prices. Tapping the Show button will display the gross profit percentage.
|
|
Cost Price - When expanded, and the Show button tapped, the product cost prices will be displayed.
|
|
Add Item - When tapped, adds the selected product to the sales order and returns users to the sales order lines.
|

|
Submitting the Order
Once all products have been added to the order tapping the Continue button will proceed to the Finalise screen to submit the order either as a quote or via EDI.

|
Order Summary - Displays a summary of the order showing the total value of all products on the order.
|
|
Messages - Allows users to add both visible or hidden messages to the order.
|
Tapping the Hidden check box will apply the status Hidden to the message when added
|
|
Tapping the button will add the typed message to the order. Multiple messages can be added to an order.
|
|
|
Save as Quote - Tapping the button will complete the quote on the mobile device and submit it to BBS Accounting for importing as a Quote.
users will be presented with the option to view or email the quote. Please refer to Quote Generation for more information.

Send as EDI Order - Tapping the button will complete the order on the mobile device, submit it to BBS Accounting for importing as a quote, and will add a record to the Web Order Inbox for review and conversion from a quote to a sales order.
