The Delivery Runs button on the main menu allows users to view the delivery manifest/s created in BBS Accounting for the selected run/driver or create a new delivery manifest. To use the delivery run feature users will need to create or edit Driver/Runs in Driver/Run Maintenance and mark them to track deliveries and PODs, and any Ship Via methods used for deliveries that will need to be tracked on BBS Atom will also need to be marked for tracking deliveries and PODs in Ship Via/Courier Maintenance. Please refer to Delivery Run Procedure for more information.

When tapped, the screen will refresh retrieving any new relevant data from BBS Accounting.
|
|
|
|
|
Run/Driver - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a run/driver to create or view delivery runs for. Please refer to Driver/Run Maintenance for more information.
|
|
Users can enter keyword/s to search for a specific delivery that has already been added to a delivery run.
|
|
Users will be able to view a list of delivery dockets/returns that have been added to the selected delivery run by tapping the date title or up/down arrows, which will expand or collapse the respective sections.
Delivery runs are automatically grouped into drops where multiple deliveries or pick,-ups are being performed at the same address.
|
|
|
When tapped, users will be able to manually reorder the current drop order. This can be done in two ways, please refer to Manual Reorder Mode for more information.
|
|
|
|
When tapped, user will be able to enter a starting warehouse location and an ending warehouse location for the selected delivery run to optimise the delivery route as suggested by Google Maps. Please refer to Auto Reorder Mode for more information.
|
|
|
|
When tapped, allows users to add more deliveries/pickups to the selected delivery run. Please refer to Add Items to Delivery Run for more information.
|
|
|
|
When tapped, the selected delivery run will expand/collapse.
|
|
|
Area - Displays the area and driver name for the selected driver/run.
|
|
Displays the drop order number of total drops as well as the number of items for the selected drop.
|
|
Displays the customer/supplier code, name, delivery/pick-up address and contact details for the selected drop/pickup. Tapping the customer/supplier hyperlink will navigate users to the Customer/Supplier Enquiry for the customer/supplier.
Tapping the address hyperlink or pin will navigate to Google Maps on the device showing the address location.
Tapping the phone number hyperlink will open the mobile phone dialler with the phone number pre-populated for calling.

A list of deliveries/pick ups will be displayed for that drop.
|
|
Tapping the PDF icon will allow users to view the transaction on the device. i.e Delivery Docket, NCN/CAR Pick Up Request etc.
|
|
Tapping the rubbish bin icon will remove the transaction from the delivery run. This button will only be visible if there is a delivery docket and the type isn't a sales order.
|
|
Record Delivery/Pickup - When tapped, users will be able to record the delivery/pickup details. Please refer to Record Delivery/Pickup for more information.
|
|
Creating New Delivery Run
After tapping the + icon on the delivery run main menu, users will be able to create a new delivery run.
|
|
Run/Driver - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a run/driver to create or retrieve delivery runs for.
|
|
Delivery Run Date - Automatically populates with the current date. Tapping the delivery run date field allows users to select a different date.
|
|
Create Delivery Run - Allows users to add items to a delivery run. Please refer to Add Items to Delivery Run for more information.
|
|
|
Add Items to Delivery Run
Users can apply filters to select from a list of delivery dockets, manually add items or scan the BBS Accounting generated barcode/s to add items to the delivery run.
|
|
|
When tapped, allows users to update the delivery run with the manually added items and label/docket barcodes that have been scanned. Not applicable when adding delivery dockets using the Select Delivery Dockets method.
|
|
|
Delivery Run - Displays the delivery run details.
|
|
Select Delivery Dockets: Users can apply the below filters to select from a list of delivery dockets that meet the criteria to add to the selected delivery run.
•Warehouse - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a different warehouse for the delivery run.
•Filter by Delivery Date (Optional) - When tapped, users will be able to filter by delivery date.
•Ship Via - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select a different ship via method.
When all criteria has been selected, tapping the Select Delivery Dockets button will bring up a list of delivery dockets that can be added to the delivery run.
Tapping the box in the Add to Delivery Run button will select the delivery docket to be added. Once all delivery dockets have been selected, users then tap the Add Selected to Delivery Run button to add the selected delivery dockets to the delivery run.

Manually Add Items: Users can select to manually add other types of deliveries/pick ups to the selected delivery run.
•Type - Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select the type of transaction to manually add to the selected delivery run.
•Reference No - The reference number associated to the selected transaction type being manually added (eg Delivery Docket number, Sales Invoice number etc. .
Once the Type and Reference have been selected/entered, tapping Add Item will add the item to the delivery run.
Users will need to tap the green arrow in the top right hand corner to save and update the manually added items to the delivery run.

Scan Labels/Dockets - Allows users to scan a barcode with an external barcode scanner from a BBS Accounting generated label/docket or tapping the barcode icon will access the devices camera for users to scan a BBS Accounting generated label/docket.
Users will need to tap the green arrow in the top right hand corner to save and update the scanned labels/dockets and add them to the delivery run.

Manual Reorder Mode
|
|
|
When tapped, allows users to update and save the reordering of the order.
|
|
|
Delivery Run - Displays the delivery run details.
|
|
Move Up/Down - Allows users to reorder the drops by manually moving them up and/or down one at a time. Please refer to Move Up/Down for more information.
|
|
Select Order - Allows users to reorder the drops by manually selecting the order they are delivered/picked up in. Please refer to Select Orders for more information.
|
|
|
|
|
|
When tapped, the delivery/pickup will move down the delivery order.
|
|
When tapped, the delivery/pickup will move up the delivery order.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
When tapped, the drop will be selected to be reordered. Users will need to select the drops in the order they wish them to be delivered/picked up in.
|
|
When tapped, the drop will be deselected from reordering.
|
|
Any drops not selected when the reordering is saved will be placed below the drops that have been selected in the delivery run.
|
|
Auto Reorder Mode
The Auto Reorder Mode allows users to enter a starting and ending location to optimise a delivery route as suggested by Google Maps.
|
|
Delivery Run - Displays the delivery run details.
|
|
Start Location: Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select their start location. Users can select their current location as the start location or select a warehouse. If Current is selected the GPS coordinates will be taken from the device.
|
|
End Location: Tapping the drop down arrow allows users to select their end location. Users can select their current location as the end location or select a warehouse. If Current is selected the GPS coordinates will be taken from the device.
|
|
Optimise Delivery Run - When tapped, an optimised route will be suggested by Google Maps based on the start/end locations and the delivery/pickup addresses on the delivery run.
|
|
|
Record Delivery/Pickup
|
|
Displays the customer/supplier code, name, delivery/pick-up address and contact details for the selected drop/pickup. Tapping the customer/supplier hyperlink will navigate users to the Customer/Supplier Enquiry for the customer/supplier.
Tapping the address hyperlink will navigate to Google Maps on the device showing the address location. All deliveries and/or pickups for the selected drop will also be displayed.

Total Items Delivered/Collected - The total number of items being delivered/picked up. This field will automatically populate as per the delivery dockets etc. Users will be able to adjust the quantity if required by tapping on the field and entering a new quantity. Where the total number of items being delivered/picked up exceed the quantity as per the delivery dockets etc users will receive a warning that more items are being delivered/picked up than expected.

Storeperson/Driver - The storeperson/driver making the delivery. Clicking the drop down arrow allows users to select a different storeperson/driver.
|
|
Signatures/Photos: Users will be required to obtain a signature or capture a photo to complete the delivery/pickup
|
When tapped, users will be able to obtain a signature for the delivery/pickup.
|
|
When tapped, the devices camera will be accessed for users to take a photo capturing the delivery.
|
Where a signature has been obtained and/or a photo has been taken, these will appear underneath the signature/photo icons.
Tapping the X will delete the signature and/or photo.
|
|
Received By - Users can enter the name of the person receiving the delivery, or the name of the person that provided the goods for pickup.
|
|
Note - Users can enter a note if required.
|
|
Complete Delivery/Pickup - When tapped, the delivery will be marked as complete with all data being returned to BBS Accounting and the GPS location will be captured. Proof of Delivery details are visible in BBS Accounting in the Delivery Dockets, Manifests & PODs window,
