The button previously known as Send Rep Hold Notice in Sales Order Credit Hold Release has been renamed to Send Credit Hold Notification allowing users to select to send the hold notification to either the staff member who raised the order or to the customer/orderer who placed the order.
Sending the hold notification to the Order Originator works the same way it always has, allowing users to send a message via email to the Rep notifying them of the credit hold and any actions required.
Sending the hold notification to the Customer/Orderer uses a HTML template to create an email to be sent via Outlook with a Sales Order Confirmation attached explaining that the order is on hold. Users can edit the template in Document Type Maintenance, and selecting document type CREDITHOLDCUST.
