When the Office Brands Product Data Import is performed, and when new product codes are created from EzCodes, the O/B Product Attributes will be imported into the new Custom Fields/Attributes feature on Products.

 

Normally custom fields show in the list whether they have data in them or not, however due to the large number of Office Brands attribute types for various products, most of which are blank for a given product, BBS will only show the O/B Product Attributes custom fields that have been populated for the selected product.

 

BBS will automatically create any custom fields that are missing as required, and will populate the attribute data onto the product codes automatically.

 

It is advisable that users do NOT edit the data in Office Brands custom fields. If users edit the data in an Office Brands custom field, it will be reset back to the Office Brands data when the next import is performed.
