Users can now change the warehouse on an existing Sales Order or Quote in Sales Order Entry/Maintenance, provided the transaction meets the required conditions.
The warehouse can be changed when:
•No quantity has been invoiced.
•The order is not on an active picking run.
•The order is not in manifest or delivery processing.
•The order is not a BOM component order.
•The order is not a service-job parts request.
•The order is not a Charge & Hold release.
•There is no actioned Direct Delivery or Exclusive Buy-In purchase order.
When the warehouse is changed, any existing stock allocations will be unallocated and recalculated using the normal stock-allocation rules for the new warehouse.
If picking has already commenced outside an active picking run, a warning will be displayed advising that the picked quantities and picking details will be reset.
Certain specialised transactions, including loyalty claims, equipment/service-agreement orders, booklist quotes, cost comparisons, Direct Delivery, Exclusive Buy-In and manual-allocation orders, cannot be changed to a Charge & Hold billing warehouse.
Existing Charge & Hold billing orders can be moved to a normal warehouse or another Charge & Hold warehouse, provided the standard checks are met.
Important: The warehouse change is only applied when the Sales Order or Quote is saved. If you exit without saving, the original warehouse and stock allocations will be retained.
