In July 2025, Office National Support Office ceased maintaining pricing and product data for items in the EXTENDED range. At the time, this had minimal impact. However, over the past six months, supplier cost increases have resulted in many EXTENDED products having outdated cost and sell prices. This has led to some products being ordered by customers at very low margins, or in some cases, at a loss.

 

Following Office National’s guidance, BBS will now treat EXTENDED range products as no longer actively maintained. This means:

•The catalogue and government pricing for these products will be removed from BBS.

•Prices will default to your defined sell price rules, or to manual pricing if no rules are set.

•Cost prices for these products are also not maintained, so these may need to be manually updated from suppliers.

 

For Double-t website users:

•EXTENDED-only products will be removed from your websites unless they are marked as store products.

•EXTENDED-only products that are on contract for customers will remain visible to those customers under their web logins.

 

We recommend reviewing your pricing for EXTENDED range items as soon as possible to ensure margins are maintained.
