When creating a new payment token in Integrated Payment Token Maintenance via eWAY, a $0.01 pre-authorisation will now be processed to verify the validity of the card details provided. This step ensures that the card is ready for charging when required.

 

Where the $0.01 pre-authorisation is successful, the amount will be immediately cancelled, and the funds will be released back to the customers card.
