A logic change has been made with regards to the low gross profit restrictions in both Sales Order Entry/Maintenance and Point of Sale when a current promotional price is being charged.

 

Promotional prices will be treated like contract prices with respect to low GP restrictions meaning that if a current promotional price is being charged and that price is below the minimum gross profit percentage required, an override password will NO LONGER be required.

 

However, as is the case with contract prices, if a current promotional price is being charged and that price is less than the cost price, then an override password will still be required.
