The Meter Type Code Maintenance program can be used to create and maintain meter types.
To create a Meter Type enter a unique Meter Type and select Yes when prompted.
Enter the details for the meter type that you would like to create.

Description - Description for the selected meter type. |

Default Product for Meters/Per Copy Changes - Default product code for the meter/per copy charge for the selected meter type. |

Default Product for Meter Based Minimum Charges - Default product code for the meter based minimum charge for the selected meter type. |
To Amend a meter type enter the code for the meter type that you would like to amend or click the 
to search for the meter type, make the changes and click Save.
To Delete a meter type enter the code for the meter type that you would like to delete or click the to search for the meter type and click Delete.
