This section outlines the end of month and end of financial year procedures required to be carried out in BBS Accounting.

 

The end of month/financial year procedure is broken into four parts, with each detailed in it's own topic:

1.Stock / Inventory - performed the last working day of the month.

2.Debtors - performed the first working day of new the month.

3.Payroll - performed after the last payrun for the month, but prior to the first payrun in the new month.

4.General Ledger - performed on the last working day of the financial year, and any time transactions are posted into the previous financial year from then on.

 

There is also a list of Standard Financial Reports for Accountants that you may need to run and send to your accountant at the end of the financial year at the bottom of this topic.
