The Cash Flow Projection Report includes the following items:

Bank Balances

Includes the closing bank balance as at the last bank reconciliation for the bank codes selected.

Bank Transactions

Includes the unpresented transactions for the bank codes selected.

Outstanding Debtor Invoices

Invoice terms combined with customers calculated dates (late or early) are used to calculate the expected receipt date.

It is assumed that any on account amounts or outstanding credit notes will be taken up before payment is made.

Debtors Debit Journals

Customer terms code combined with customers calculated average payment dates (late or early) are used to calculate the expected receipt date.

It is assumed that any on account amounts or outstanding credit notes will be taken up before payment is made.

Outstanding Sales orders with allocated stock

The allocated stock lines are ‘dummy invoiced’ as at the pick date (or today if the pick date is in the past).

The resulting invoices then have their expected receipt date calculated using the same method as other outstanding debtor amounts (above).

Sales orders on credit hold, or customers set to STOP, LEGAL, CLOSED or DORMANT are excluded.

Outstanding Customer Backorders

Outstanding purchase orders are matched to outstanding backorders as per standard stock allocation logic (ie the same logic used in many parts of the system to predict expected stock allocations from purchase orders like the Purchase Order Management Dashboard).

Stock from these purchase orders is then dummy allocated to the sales orders for each PO line, and dummy invoices are generated dated at the sales order pick date, or the PO line ETA date, whichever is later.

The resulting invoices then have their expected receipt date calculated using the same method as other outstanding debtor amounts (above).

Any customer backorders that cannot be filled by existing purchase orders are omitted from the report as there is no way to know when it may be invoiced out to the customer.

Sales orders on credit hold, or customers set to STOP, LEGAL, CLOSED or DORMANT are excluded.

Reoccurring Sales Orders

Reoccurring sales orders are calculated and dummy invoices are raised based on the calculated RSO pick date.

It is assumed that all stock will be available to invoice on an RSO at the pick date.

The resulting invoices then have their expected receipt date calculated using the same method as other outstanding debtor amounts (above)

Periodic Bills

Periodic bills are calculated and dummy invoices are raised based on the calculated periodic bill date.

It is assumed that all items on a periodic bill are non-diminishing and can therefore be fully invoiced.

The resulting invoices then have their expected receipt date calculated using the same method as other outstanding debtor amounts (above)

Outstanding Creditors Amounts

Invoice due date is used to calculate the expected payment date.

It is assumed that any outstanding supplier credits will be taken up before any payment is made.

Outstanding Purchase Orders

Outstanding purchase orders are theoretically receipted onto dummy creditors invoices based on the ETA dates on the purchase order lines.

Purchase order lines with ETA dates in the past will be theoretically receipted as at the date the report is run.

The resulting dummy invoices then have their expected payment date calculated using the vendors terms.

It is assumed that any outstanding supplier credits will be taken up before any payment is made.

Payroll

Dummy payruns are run for all active non-casual employees with standard payruns for each week/fortnight/month/quarter covered by the report.

The payroll payment dates are used for the net pay amounts calculated.

PAYG

PAYG for payruns processed in BBS after ‘PAYG Paid up to period’ will be forecast to be due as per the PAYG reporting frequency set in the BAS module (monthly or quarterly).

PAYG for future payruns calculated by this report will be forecast to be due as per the PAYG reporting frequency set in the BAS module (monthly or quarterly).

PAYG payments will then be set to be due on the 21st of the month for the previous month’s PAYG if reporting monthly.

or;

GST for projected invoices/payments, will be forecast to be due as per the GST reporting frequency and GST reporting type set in the BAS module (monthly or quarterly; cash or accruals).

GST payments will then be set to be due on the 21st of the month for the previous month’s GST if reporting monthly.

or;

28th of the month (April, July, October and January) for the previous quarter if reporting quarterly.

Super

Super for payruns processed in BBS after ‘Super Paid up to period’ will be forecast to be due as per super payment frequency selected (per payrun, monthly or quarterly).

Super for future payruns calculated by this report will be forecast to be due as per super payment frequency selected (per payrun, monthly or quarterly).

Super payments will then be set to be due on the date of the payrun if reporting per-payrun.

or;

on the 28st of the month for the previous month’s Super if reporting monthly.
