The Bank Code Maintenance program can be used to create and maintain bank accounts including credit cards.
To create a Bank Code enter a unique Bank Code and select Yes when prompted.
Enter the details for the bank account that you would like to create.

Bank Description - Description for the selected bank code Cost Centre - Cost Centre for the selected bank code for the balance sheet account to link to G/L Account - General Ledger account for the selected bank code for the balance sheet account to link to |

BSB No - BSB number for the selected bank code Account No - Account number for the selected bank code Online User Ref A/P - Online user accounts payable reference for the selected bank code (if known (this is supplied by your financial institution)) Online User Ref Payroll - Online user payroll reference for the selected bank code (if known (this is supplied by your financial institution)) Accounts Name - Account name for the selected bank code Bank Initials - Bank initials for the selected bank code |
If the bank account being created has a balance less or greater than zero then users will need to enter an opening balance by clicking on Change Last Statement Balance, enter the relevant figure then click OK.
To Amend a bank code enter the code for the bank account that you would like to amend or click the to search for the bank account, make the changes and click Save.
To Delete a bank code enter the code for the bank account that you would like to delete or click the to search for the bank account and click Delete.
